Backyard Boat Building

Sural Neighborhood Associations, Jupiter and Torres Bellas, following the defense of better public health have been involved in the Municipal Council of Alcorcón on December 21

Our intervention: Sir

Mayor, Aldermen and Lords and Ladies Lords and Ladies.
As you all know Alcorcón population has increased in recent years as urban development plans soon this town will grow. We believe that the existing network of Public Health Centers with which we are not sufficient to meet the population criteria of effectiveness and efficiency adequate to meet health needs. Consequently
Associations Neighborhood Torres Bellas, Jupiter and Sural, with the support of unions. We take this opportunity to participate in the Municipal Council to show our opposition to the closure of two primary care centers in the municipality, the health center "Castles, former" Dr. Fleming "C / Cabo San Vicente, 18, and" Dr. Barn Vicedo "C / Valladolid, 22; by the Community of Madrid. They do not meet safety requirements and hygiene. And in return open two new centers in Alcorcón, one in the Los Castillos and the other in the area of \u200b\u200bthe Ribota.
We believe these two new centers will not be sufficient to cover the population of the areas, much less to take care of other areas of the municipality. Despite the creation of new health centers in other locations in the city, these areas remain lacking health care.

We, like the residents affected are against the closure of these centers Alcorcón Public Health, because they caused:

- The popularization of health cards in the township health centers. Through neglect, in our opinion, features, storage, maintenance and adequacy of health facilities "Dr. Vicente Vicedo Barn "and" Castles "(formerly Dr. Fleming) to the new needs.

- Damage to the affected population (in many cases over 65 years) will have to do less travel to attend the family doctor.

We are against the location of the affected in another center without your explicit consent.
And the position we expressed Health Councillor and Markets in a meeting, the closure of these centers if the ratio of health cards does not exceed the 1,500 per physician. Well, we think, as we have previously stated, that given the characteristics of the population most affected, to carry out a redistribution of health cards for other schools would seriously undermine access to health care quality.
We take this action in the Municipal Council to ask the chairmen of the various political groups for their support and express their position in Parliament. Also, ask the Councillor for Health and defend markets against the Ministry of Health and Consumption of the Community of Madrid the right to health protection as recognized in Article 43 of the English Constitution of 1978, as a matter for the protect and organize government benefits and services necessary to protect public health. And, in the Preamble of the Law 12/2001 of 21 December the Madrid acknowledge the participation of citizens and states Cone Health indispensable in the management and understanding that citizens should participate in decisions about health priorities and that the
internal and external assessment of health services should be listening to professionals and patients. We think that we are not leaving to participate in that decision-making and our ratings are not being taken into account.
Therefore, we do get the position of the residents of this Ministry for the channels they deem necessary. And we demand that responsibilities appropriate to ask the public authorities are denying us our rights. Thank
attention.
Thanks.

THEREFORE WE RATIFY THREE ASSOCIATIONS

The AAVV Sural, Jupiter and Torres will continue to be fine against the closure of these two health centers, and do not understand each other as neighbors, trying to follow the citizen as mere numbers without taking into account the situation of people.

believe that what we should do is request in writing to the Centre's users, if they voluntarily want to change the health center, and if at the end of the responses obtained underutilized Center, would have to see the most suitable for minimal harm to the patient.

We also believe that should be explored in areas affected, creating a new Health Centre under the law so that this older population that uses these health centers, not having to travel long distances to health care.

continue to believe that the health centers Barn Vineyards and Dr. Fleming have been abandoned and fence letting it deteriorate over time to justify an unjustifiable closure if it had maintained.

These associations believe that it is better to have neighborhood health centers but are smaller, a macro centers with many specialties, but you have to travel long distances, since it comes with this method to a mechanized and abandons health la atención cercana al paciente.
