A Federal Police assistant commissioner and his wife, a noncommissioned officer of the same Force, were injured after two robbers who opened fire had broken into his house to steal.
Police sources told that the incident occurred on Tuesday night in the town of Manuel Alberti, in Pilar. For the case, a 27 year old man with a criminal record was arrested later at a hospital in General Pacheco. Was shot. The other assailant escaped.
The assault occurred at 23.30 at the home of the two policemen, located in the streets of San Fermin and San Ignacio. The owners are a deputy of 46 years serving in the Federal Communications Division and his wife, an officer of 40 years of the Environmental Crimes Division.
The couple was dining in a courtyard of the house when she was caught by the two thieves who jumped a dividing wall. The police managed to draw their weapons and began the shots.
According to the spokesman, the attackers ended up escaping. The deputy was shot in his right hand, while his wife was shot twice in the stomach and one in the arm. The Both are out of danger.
