The project entitled: "Organization for the marketing of quinoa in Huando "was born from the initiative to develop quinoa producers Huando District of Huancavelica Region, thanks to previous efforts of public and private in that region, which visionary manner have encouraged the cultivation of quality quinoa in this district. In this context
and CIDESMA PROSOLINT SAC, with the support of MINDES , FONCODES SWISSCONTSC and pose an intervention goal is to increase management skills of agricultural producers to realize Huando marketing of quinoa in more profitable markets such as the social program of the municipality, by developing training, technical assistance and commercial joint leadership and improve the association of producers, as well as give them tools of business and commercial management , developing a marketing plan to identify and target new markets and marketing objectives in the short term social programs such as that of the municipality. This intervention
expect the following outcomes: § Promoting
associativity and integration Huando quinoa producers.
§ Increase the capacity of business management and commercial producers Huando quinoa.
§ Increase the capacity for developing and implementing a marketing plan Huando quinoa.
§ Reducing informality and disruption of Huando quinoa producers. The micro project
expected to benefit 76 farmers will directly and indirectly to the 380 people who make their families (estimated number of 5 persons per family).
The market has been identified as forming the Huando District Municipality, who through their social programs require this cereal, either in grain or flake. It hopes to sell 6000 kilos (6 TM) of quinoa varieties and Hualhuas Dulce Salcedo INIA at an average price of S /. 3.00 nuevos soles, hoping to generate S /. 18000 new soles for 76 families of farmers.
