Plural Citizen In Front (the organizers of the International Forum against militarization and violence: On a different culture) warmly welcome the solidarity actions in the rest of the country are beginning to take toward WITH U.S. s and our city. We deeply appreciate and encourage you to stay in this fight for the demilitarization of the city and the rest of the country. We will maintain our permanent denunciation of the prevailing policy of death on our streets. We reiterate our commitment in defense of life and our outright refusal to be silent accomplices of the real causes of so much blood that spilled every day in our city and the rest of the country. Therefore we note the following:
1. We reject the thesis that we live in a failed state, the apparatus of power and state work force, the sad thing is that they are serving interests of criminal groups that govern us wrong.
2. We reject the argument that a war is brewing between drug dealers and at the same time another state against the cartels. Identify transnational interests in creating the conflict which we live, that is, we are witnessing a conflict generated perverse to allow a favorable scenario selfish imperialist interests that our authorities and validate them.
3. Therefore, we reject the thesis of narco-terrorism that quickly begins to handle and spread. Warn of the dangers of falling into the simulation of this so-called war on drugs. We reject the growing U.S. intervention, driving through the Merida from this barbaric country.
4. We condemn the impunity and lack of respect for our most basic human rights guarantees of our dignity, trampled by calls today forces who are frightened, the degree of shock, the bulk of the population.
5. We denounce the paramilitaries that means death squads have sown terror in our city, massacres, torture and kidnapping tolerated or supported by both the Army and Federal Police.
6. Denounce the existence a policy of terror by the Mexican state, in order to paralyze a society increasingly impoverished and tired of so much injustice in the context of the worst crisis of civilization (economic, political, ecological, etc.) of humanity .
7. We will continue to insist that the output start to end this barbarity caused intentionally, is the popular mobilization, organizing workers to demand the resignation of senior members of the PF and the army, incompetent and complicit in the constant death which awaits us.
8. Facing a criminal state that you want to remain in power, must demand the resignation of senior and middle of the three powers in three levels of government.
9. We express the urgency of a new constituent assembly to establish priorities that the interests of working people. And in no way allow a new foreign invasion, much less American.
10. We demand the immediate withdrawal of PF in our city and the immediate return of the armed forces to barracks and their presence on the streets, as well as unconstitutional, has proven itself useless and very damaging to life safety and our citizens.
11. We demand The material and intellectual authors of this policy of state terrorism against the population, which has generated so many massacres (as we have here now disowned) and extrajudicial executions, disappearances, kidnappings, extortion, etc. be tried before international tribunals for crimes against humanity. That the genocide of vulnerable groups initiated by the commander in chief of the armed forces, Mr. Felipe Calderon, not go unpunished, but rather be stopped immediately from office and subject to the process.
The above demands for full compliance urgently require the organization of large sectors of society, but especially the workers in our country.
